"An afternoon in Casa WHO UNIT?": I'm always looking for new collaborators whose skill, imagination, seriousness of purpose, open-mindedness, etc, stimulate me to accomplish something that I would've been less likely to accomplish without them.  As such, it's been a delight to add Libby Ramer to the roster of collaborators.  Her keyboard playing, good naturedness, sense of humor AND seriousness have all been a delight for me & have prompted me to improve my keyboard playing - which can certainly use it!  This is a document of our very 1st improvisation together & I'm happy to say that I think there're many excellent moments in it - so many, in fact, that I present the entire thing here: including such 'book-ending' as my turning on the recording devices at the beginning & Libby's & my discussion at the end.  I eagerly anticipate working on increasingly ambitious projects with Libby that will help us both grow creatively.  Libby's a wonder & it's been an honor to get to know her.  - July 12, 2017 notes from tENTATIVELY, a cONVENIENCE
